Rhode Island Orthopedic Society is a scientific and educational association of orthopedic physicians and students in Rhode Island working to continually improve our connection to fellow physicians, legislators, and the patients we are honored to serve.

The Rhode Island Society of Anesthesiologists (RISA) serves the Rhode Island Community as an advocate for the delivery of competent and safe care to all patients requiring anesthesia and pain relief. RISA is an educational, networking and advocacy professional membership organization of physicians.

The Rhode Island Medical Women’s Association (RIMWA) founded in 1981 was the first organization in Rhode Island dedicated to the professional and personal needs of women physicians and their patients. RIMWA seeks to recognize the special needs of women in medicine and female patients and to help meet the challenges of tomorrow. 

The Rhode Island Podiatric Medical Association (RIPMA) is a non-profit corporation organized exclusively for the purpose of promoting the art and science of podiatric medicine and surgery among and on behalf of doctors of podiatric medicine licensed in the State of Rhode Island, among persons interested in the betterment of public health, and among persons who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement in the art and science of podiatric medicine and surgery.

The Rhode Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (RI ACS) is a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 with the goal of improving the quality care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.
We strive to seek close fellowship of our members while uniting their efforts to improve the quality of care for surgical patients in Rhode Island. Continuing education and advocacy for our members is a top priority.

The Rhode Island Psychiatric Society (RIPS) is a voluntary, professional association of physicians in Rhode Island who specialize in psychiatry. RIPS has over 200 members and is the Rhode Island District Branch of the American Psychiatric Association.

RISEPS is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating fellow physicians in the latest medical advances in eye care, to promoting public awareness of issues surrounding proper eye health, and to advocating quality medical eye treatment before legislative and regulatory agencies.

The mission of the Rhode Island Society of Addiction Medicine (RISAM) is to increase access to and improve the quality of addiction treatment; educate physicians, other healthcare providers, and the public; to support research and prevention; promote research and prevention; and to establish addiction medicine as a specialty recognized by professional organizations, governments, physicians, purchasers and consumers of health care services, and the general public.

RI ACEP is the premier organization for practicing emergency medicine physicians in Rhode Island. RI ACEP is your state advocate for emergency medicine.

The Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians exists to promote the health of the patients, families and communities of Rhode Island by advancing the specialty of family medicine through education and advocacy.

Retired Old Doctors Eating Out (RODEO) is a network of retired physicians from across Rhode Island that meets annually. These meetings are a networking opportunity for the retired physician community.
