Membership Options
Medical students can join the Rhode Island Medical Society (RIMS) in two ways. A free student membership offers access to events, mentoring, and advocacy opportunities. Students may also choose a joint four-year student membership with the American Medical Association (AMA) for $34. (Three-year joint student memberships are also available.) Students who opt for the joint membership will also receive a welcome gift from the ACA.

Both options connect students with Rhode Island’s physician community, providing valuable networking, leadership, and professional development opportunities throughout medical school and beyond.
