Dr. McKinzie Eggers

Dr. McKinzie Eggers has made remarkable strides in leadership and advocacy in just three years since graduating from the Brown Family Medicine program. A dedicated advocate, Dr. Eggers has held roles with the NY and RI Academies of Family Physicians, serving as the resident representative for RIAFP and, more recently, being elected Vice President. She is also active in the Reproductive Health Access Project, testifying at the Rhode Island State House in support of reproductive rights and advocating for access to care.

In her career, Dr. Eggers joined Blackstone Valley Community Health Center where she provides full-spectrum family medicine, including care for pregnant individuals and infants. After just one year, she was named Associate Medical Director of Clinician Development, leading efforts to create a full-spectrum health clinic for underserved populations. Dr. Eggers also spearheaded the creation of a Tuberculosis clinic, allowing patients to receive treatment without being referred out. Her leadership, dedication to patient care, and commitment to advocacy make her an outstanding recipient of the 4 Under 40 award.
