Who We Are

Welcome to the Rhode Island Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (RI ACS). We are a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 with the goal of improving the quality care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.

We strive to seek close fellowship of our members while uniting their efforts to improve the quality of care for surgical patients in Rhode Island. Continuing education and advocacy for our members is a top priority.
